Underwater Inspection and Repair of Quays and Port Structures
Ports, terminals, hydro power plants and municipalities hire EPRONS to check and repair what is below the waterline: quay walls, piers, breakwaters, water intake and outfall structures. Our divers and ROV collect measurements, photos and video that give engineers a clear picture of the structure’s condition.

- Underwater inspection of quay walls, piers and hydraulic structures
- Cathodic protection (CP) potential measurements
- Metal thickness measurements
- Ultrasonic damage and crack detection in underwater concrete structures
- Inspection of the seabed in harbour waters and depth measurements

Frequently asked questions
Do you only inspect, or also repair?
Both. After the inspection we can carry out the repair: concreting, welding, cutting and strengthening.
What if the water visibility is poor?
We combine divers with ROV and side scan sonar, which can survey the structure when divers see little.
Where do you work?
We are based in Riga (11 Audupes Street) and work in Latvian ports and in other EU countries.
